Service & Fees
I provide one-on-one therapy to adults. My fee is $175 per therapy hour (50 minutes). I am a fee-for-service provider and therefore do not accept insurance. However, your payment may be reimbursed through out-of-network benefits. Please check with your insurance provider to verify reimbursement for “out-of-network” therapists, like myself. Some plans typically reimburse 50% - 80% of the cost of therapy once you have reached your deductible, but this varies by insurance plan.
Benefits of a fee-for-service provider:
1) Insurance does not cover therapy for individuals without a diagnosis of a mental health disorder. As a fee-for-service provider, I do not have to give you a mental health disorder diagnosis.
2) Insurance limits the number of sessions they will cover. Together, we can determine how many times we meet instead of the insurance company making that decision.
3) There is greater confidentiality because information about our sessions are not being released to an insurance company.
